Maundy Thursday Supper, Good Friday & EASTER!!!

The journey to the cross ends the physical life of Jesus Christ as we understand it and begins a new life on Easter Sunday with Christ with us always!   A new life that transforms the way we live--our faith becomes an adventure, our hearts and our minds are open to what God presents to us each day and we celebrate with thanksgivings and praise for an awesome God through Jesus the Christ!!!

As our tradition we end and begin this journey of faith with Maundy Thursday Supper, Good Friday and Easter.

Maundy Thursday - March 20-6PM - Bring your ingredients to the church from 10-2:00.   I'm putting a chicken in the pot at 2:00, and vegetables in around 5 (depending on the vegie)  I will also have a pot of soup for those who are strictly vegetarian.   Supper will be served at 6PM and we will have a short service in the multipurpose room talking about the Last Supper as if you were there.  Choir practice will be held afterwards.

Good Friday - March 21 - 7:30 PM.  Taize, the choir, prayers and scripture.

EASTER SUNDAY !!!! - Christ the Lord has risen indeed!!!  I love this Sunday!!!   It reminds me what every Sunday is about - EASTER!!!  Come celebrate with this faith community with music and hear the story of Jesus defending Judas!    Easter celebration for the children right after worship.
