Choir Festival - Benefit for the Interfaith Homeless Program

Dear pastors, colleagues, friends,
We are starting once again to plan our third annual April Showers Choir Fest.  We are planning on having the event on June 8th and we are hoping to have as many San Leandro churches represented as possible, offering some musical selection for our concert.  I realize some of you do not have choirs or other official music groups at your churches, but even to have someone to lead us in a song or to perform a solo in voice or on an instrument (this can be a child too!) would be wonderful. 

As you know, we do take up a good will offering, all of which goes to benefit the April Showers program in San Leandro.  Please let me know if any musical group or individual from your church can participate in this event.  We are planning on holding the event at a central location in San Leandro this year.  Also, any of you (or anyone from your churches) who is interested in being on the planning committee is invited to join us next Monday evening, March 10th at 7:00 at Bethel Community Presbyterian Church (14235 Bancroft Ave).  If you cannot make that date, but would like to join us later, please let me know!
